Book Three: Recipes of Wales & Manx

The Wales and the Island of Man Celtic Cook book has a collection of over 60 recipes. It show the range of recipes from the other two Celtic Nations around the Irish Sea.

There are references as to various influences of their cuisine from Norway, to France as well as other Celtic Nations. There are also Iconic uses for native favorites like Mt. Greeba Mushrooms from Man and the use of Laverbread in Wales, and if you are a lover of Lamb, then these two Nations show their flair for this delicacy.

There are 14 Historical Essays and 13 ancient Welsh and Manx poems. There is also a foot note as to the use of the spelling of Man with an “X” from the 12th century.

This third book in the original series really brings forth the ancient and the modern flavors of these smaller but no less Archetypal Celtic Nations.
